The Midwest Impact Day includes over 100 chapters in the Midwest region, representing over 8,000 members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. This year the focus is on the community’s first responders in an effort to support the physical and mental health of the communities. From essential grocery and restaurant workers to healthcare professionals, the Sorority recognizes the impact of COVID-19. On Midwest Impact Day, thousands of college-educated, professional women with a heart for service will perform 1000’s of acts of service. The Sorority along with volunteers and community partners will collaborate toward a common goal.

Locally, the Kalamazoo Alumnae Chapter will be recognizing the essential workers of the Park Street Market for their steadfast and enduring service to the community during the height of the COVID 19 pandemic. The Kalamazoo Alumnae Chapter was chartered on June 23, 1973 and has been serving Kalamazoo County for over 40 years. The Kalamazoo Alumnae Chapter thanks the sponsor of the event, Old National Bank and Branch Manager, Mr. Nathan Bolton.
